Therapy

Intake Assessment $200

Individual Sessions $175

Intake assessments are approximately 1-1.5 hours in length. During this initial visit, the clinician will discuss your child’s mental health and social history, presenting conditions, and concerns. Following this assessment, the clinician will formulate a treatment plan based on your child and/or family’s specific needs and goals.

Your child will attend weekly or bi-weekly therapy sessions, based upon their agreed upon treatment plan. These sessions include art and play therapy modalities, and any diagnostic assessments that have been previously discussed between the clinician and caregiver. The clinician will weave aspects of fun and creativity into every session to create a meaningful therapeutic relationship with your child, in a welcoming and supportive environment. Family/parenting sessions will be scheduled dependent upon your child’s individualized treatment plan, and as the clinician deems helpful. Individual sessions are approximately 45-minutes in length.

Do you accept insurance?

Kindred Pediatric & Family Therapy is a private-pay, out-of-network provider. While we don't accept insurance directly, your insurance plan may have out-of-network benefits, which means that they will reimburse you for a portion of your session cost. Kindred has partnered with Thrizer, a payment platform, to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you. With Thrizer, you will only have to pay a copay for our sessions post-deductible, instead of paying our full fee and waiting for reimbursements. The overwhelming majority of our clients have out-of-network benefits through their insurance plan that they are able to utilize to cut down significantly on the cost of their sessions. During our intake process, your clinician can help you verify if you have out-of-network benefits and how much your copay would be.
